  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef chuck roast into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the beef pieces in the slow cooker, then pour the garlic butter mixture over the beef. Stir to coat the beef evenly.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it on low heat for 6-7 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, check the beef for tenderness. It should be fork-tender.
  6. Once done, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.
  7. Serve hot, right out of the slow cooker.
