Description
This high protein creamy beef pasta is a quick and satisfying weeknight meal that combines lean ground beef with a luscious creamy sauce. Perfect for busy families, it delivers comfort and flavor in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz (225 g) of pasta
- 1 lb (450 g) of lean ground beef
- 1 cup (240 ml) of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (50 g) of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once it’s rolling, add in your pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta cooks, heat your skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Once the beef is cooked, sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir until it’s fully incorporated with the beef.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until it melts and creates a creamy sauce.
- Once your pasta is ready, drain it and add it directly to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated.
- Remove from heat, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Feel free to make substitutions based on your dietary preferences. You can use whole wheat pasta for extra fiber or swap the heavy cream for a lighter alternative like Greek yogurt or coconut cream.
