I’m Jason Miller, 37, and I run on protein, purpose, and a whole lot of grilled chicken. I live in Boulder, Colorado, where the air is crisp, the trails are calling, and my kitchen smells like sizzling spices and ambition.

My Story

My journey into high-protein cooking didn’t start in culinary school—it started in the gym, after a knee injury benched me and forced me to rethink how I fueled my body. Suddenly, I couldn’t rely on burning calories through intense workouts alone. I had to get smart about nutrition, and that meant diving deep into the world of macros, meal prep, and protein optimization.

What began as a practical need turned into a full-blown passion. I got obsessed—with macros, sure, but more importantly with making protein-rich meals that actually tasted good. Today, my kitchen is my playground. I cook up everything from teriyaki salmon bowls to chickpea protein pancakes, always balancing flavor and function. Living in Boulder means I have access to incredible local ingredients and a community that values both performance and wellness. My spice rack is as important as my gym bag—both are essential tools for reaching my goals.
